Writers Guidelines – We welcome articles from many sources, although our first consideration is well-written pieces from our advertising clients. The deadline for submitting articles or news briefs is the 10th of the month. We receive many articles so it's possible that an article will not appear for two to three months. We are unable to feature every article we receive. It is helpful to provide articles that are relevant, well-written, and that fit within our word-length requirements.

Articles should be 700-900 words in length. The article should be typed into the body of an e-mail (text format, not HTML) and sent along with the number of words to editor@pcmflorida.com. Please only leave one space after the end of all sentences, and make sure to include the author's name, and a brief two-sentence biography at the end of the article.

News Briefs - Every edition of Positive Change features 50 news briefs in the first section of our magazine. Current display advertisers can send us a news brief by going to the news brief page. This page provides two forms - one for new clients offering various services and one for upcoming events or programs. Current advertising clients and non-profit friends receive first consideration. All other submissions are featured on a space-available basis.

Photos - We welcome high resolution digital images of the author to accompany articles and appropriate images for news briefs. E-mail photos to production@pcmflorida.com as a tif, eps, or jpg file. Each image must be labeled with the person's name, and submissions should also include a telephone number and contact name. We run photos on a space available basis.
