Dr. Michael Dattoli and partner Dr. Richard Sorace have dedicated their practice to providing the latest therapy for this one diagnosis: prostate cancer. Together over 20 years, they have pioneered combination therapy that begins with daily 4-Dimensional Image-Guided Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (4D IG-IMRT) with DART (Dynamic Adaptive Radiation Therapy) and follows with Palladium-103 Brachytherapy (radioactive seed implant). Their often published research indicates this is the appropriate therapy for all grades of prostate cancer, including advanced cases. The combination treatment defeats the cancer cells without permanently damaging urinary and erectile functions. The treatment is also effective in treating men with recurrent prostate cancer, who have been treated unsuccessfully elsewhere. Dr. Dattoli is internationally recognized as an author and speaker on the subject of prostate cancer.

The Dattoli Cancer Center was established in Sarasota in 2000, and has seen more than 5,000 men since its opening. The mission of the Center is to stay on the leading edge of technology and research into accurate diagnosis, staging and treatment.

Periodontal Specialist & Dental Implants
www.EastmanOnline.com
1906 - G 59th Street West, Bradenton
941-792-3899

Lindsay B. Eastman, DDS, MS, PA is a periodontal specialist who has been serving Manatee County for over 27 years. He is one of only a few dental specialists in Florida to employ registered nurses for patient safety and comfort. In addition to being among the first in the country trained in computer guided implant placement, he is one of only a few to offer special testing for destructive bacteria, metal allergies and risk of oral medication-induced osteonecrosis. These special tests help prevent re-treatment of oral infections that often elude the diagnosis of most dental offices. Dr. Eastman believes proper diagnostics, excellent communication, and a team approach to treatment planning is the best method for comprehensive patient care. Scientific literature confirms that total health is directly related to oral health. Through the periodontal services Dr. Eastman's office provides, patients can minimize their risk for heart disease, diabetes, stroke, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pancreatic cancer, Alzheimer's disease and arthritis.

In addition, Dr. Eastman specializes in advanced tooth replacement options with dental implants. Research has proven dental implants to be more predictable and last longer than conventional tooth replacement methods such as bridges and dentures. Other studies have shown an improvement in quality of life, diet and self-confidence through replacing lost or missing teeth with dental implants. The goal of his practice is that through optimum oral health, patients can live longer, happier, healthier lives.

Structural Integrative Bodywork/Jeffrey "Dallas"Cohn, LMT
DallasBodyWork@Mac.com
1490 Blvd of the Arts
Sarasota, FL 34236

The experience of our lives translates itself into imbalances showing up as stress and rigidity of our bodies, hardening our tissues, resulting in pain, discomfort and lack of available movement. Maintaining these imbalances, which now feel proper to us, impose stress and hardening of our bodies.

Structural Integration works to remove this hardening of our tissues to return the body to its original, natural fluid state. Structural Integrative Bodywork is accomplished by the manipulation of the soft tissue matrix- the fascia, to bring about changes to old patterns in a body and to bring about new patterns that help the structure find its natural alignment and balance.

The fascia, the connective tissue which literally holds the various parts of the body together, is the “wrapping” that weaves all of these parts together into a 3-D maze of interwoven fascial layers. A 10-12 series process, each session proceeds and builds momentum on the previous session. This is accomplished by separating the body into functional, coherent logical patterns, so that the body itself can be experienced and expressed as an integrated entity that is the whole person

20 Minutes to Fitness
941-309-8989
www.20minutestofitness.com

20 Minutes to Fitness® offers a unique form of fitness referred to as “slow cadence, high-intensity” strength training - requiring only one, 20 minute session a week. This is an extremely safe form of fitness: performed on highly-specialized equipment, under the continuous supervision and guidance of a certified “Personal Fitness Coach”. The training uses slow, continuous movements, using sufficient weight to take the target muscles to peak performance within 2 minutes. With Clients getting a full body workout on 5 to 7 pieces of equipment, each training session takes between 18 – 22 minutes. Due to the nature of the workout, this technique engages a muscle fiber that is not engaged in traditional forms of strength training. The result triggers a “recovery” process which typically takes from 4 to 6 days, building back the muscle we lose as we age, thereby slowing down, preventing and, in some cases, reversing the health and fitness problems associated with aging, including weight gain, osteoporosis, arthritis, hypertension, and Type II diabetes. The research demonstrates that this training is far more effective than any other form of strength training. The bottom line for our Clients - 20 Minutes to Fitness provides a time efficient, results-effective workout.
